This was written for a friends birthday

There was a big trend. The cricket world moved from red ball cricket to white and pink ball cricket.
I was manufactured in Pune in the Factory. Our manufacturing is regulated by marriage laws. When I was being manufactured, i was assembled from parts from Pune and nearby areas. I was molded into round shape by the values of the Dawda family.

I have broken many glasses, during gully cricket

Life was a challenge. I was always getting hit. Getting hit is written on its fate

I recall, i had an accident and there was a leg spin and I was completely tapped to recover. I was put in a storage for a few days. I was then back. i was moved to Pune in a train, with other balls.

I then joined the Voda team and I was being trained. I went up and down like the shares of Voda and they had no idea, what they were doing. But I had the balls to do things as I wanted.

During this period there was a Nik and I was caught at the boundary and the crowd cheered. With the advent of 20-20, i was always hit in the right area. I got replaced from the game at the 10th over itself. I then was brought back to the field, in LPL by the team owner. She ensured that the edges of mine, where kept sharp, so that i could be saved from the opposition hitting. The owner knew that, if i fall in the oppositions hands, I would be tossed apart. But the opposition bowlers and keeper had me bruised. The bowlers used to always throw we around.I was once thrown into a Ritser bucket with a Googly. When the Keeper used to shout, Keeper, Keeper, I used to be always thrown there into her gloves. These three stumps(Owner, bowler and Keeper) were always part of my life. Not sure, were the bail came in from the shuttle(cock).

I became round again, all due to efforts of the boundary Nik and we manufactured a cute ball at Cloud Nine.

Now, I am waiting to be moulded back to return to active duty.

Today, 6th July is the day, i was manufactured and there will be another celebration batting me out.
